Everything is pre-setup for tracking. You just need to take the phone out of the box, follow the included "AccuTracking Quick Start Guide" to activate the phone online with Boost Mobile and start tracking online (your AccuTracking username and password are also pre-setup and included in the Guide).
* 35 cents will be deducted from the pre-paid credit each day for the unlimited data transmission (which is required by AccuTracking). After the included credit is used up, you can go to boostmobile.com to recharge your phone, or you can buy re-charge card at your local CVS or 7-Eleven. You don't have to have the phone in hands to recharge, in case it's installed in the vehicle. More credit will be deducted if you use the phone for calling (currently $0.20 per minute peak hours, $0.10 off-peak hours).

Q: Can I install it in my car or truck?
A: Yes. You might want to hardwire the phone to the car battery (using the 12V Car Socket and Car Charger). Also, carefully choose the installation spot in the car so the phone can still have a good view of the sky for the GPS satellites (the phone is not blocked by metal).
